<Poem>

<Translation>
Parting last year in a suburban garden
we heard cicadas in Orchid Hall
this year I'm ensconced in Nanchiao
where cicadas sing the road home is long
the sounds of dusk echo along the outer wall
my lingering sadness fades in the autumn light
sealing this letter I send this report
of a heart that burns too bright
